Want to see a giant appliance robot and electrical contraptions from the past? This unique museum tells the story of hydroelectric development in Manitoba and how electrical energy works. Fun for the whole family! We are open year-round for our general exhibits.
We also have special events as follows:
-Wonder Juice - Held during the month of May - celebrate all that is electricity - our wonder juice and experience a “hair-raising” adventure.
-Louie’s Family Fun Days - In July and August, discover how you can stay safe around electricity with games and activities developed by our safety mascot, Louie the Lightning Bug.
-All That Glows - Annual holiday lighting exhibit from mid-November to early January showcasing Christmas lighting from the 1880s to today.
Open Monday to Thursday, 1 pm to 4 pm. (Special hours during All That Glows - call for details.) Closed on statutory holidays. Free admission and parking. Guided tours are available (by appointment). To schedule a tour, or for more information, call 204-360-7905.
