Riding Mountain National Park of Canada
Situated amidst a sea of agricultural land, Riding Mountain rises dramatically from the prairie landscape forming part of the Manitoba Escarpment. In this majestic 3000 square kilometre Park, Eastern, Western and Northern Canada meet in a unique environment of towering white spruce, hardwood forests and prairie grasslands. Some of North America's largest elk, moose and black bear live here. Take advantage of the 400 km of hiking, biking, horse and cross-country ski trails. Wasagaming, the park's townsite on the shores of Clear Lake, offers a full range of visitor services including accommodation, restaurants and shopping. There is something for everyone!
