About the Fort la Reine Museum; The Fort la Reine Museum is located on Hwy 1 & 1A, at the east edge of Portage la Prairie, Manitoba. The museim is dedicated to preserving the heritaeg of the Canadian Prairies as well as the history of the City and Municipality of Portage la Prairie.
