Lockport Heritage Park
Lockport Heritage Park is home to the Kenosewun (Cree for "there are many fishes") Centre, which houses tourist information, archaeological exhibits of Aboriginal horticultural artifacts, and audio-visual presentations on Aboriginal history and the history of Lockport. Scenic footpaths overlook St. Andrew's lock and dam, a national historic site. A provincial plaque commemorates the first farmers in the Red River Valley. Open May long weekend to September long weekend. Location: PTH 44, just east of the Lockport Bridge.
