Miami Pioneer Museum features 40 feet of mosasaur vertebrae and head bones of prehistoric mammals. World War uniforms, wedding dresses, tools and artifacts pertaining to the women's work of the time, a school room and a church with pulpit and organ depict the life of the early settlers. Open June to September, 2 p.m. - 5 p.m., Saturday, Sunday and holidays. Admission charged. Tel. 204-435-2305. Location: 3rd Street and Kirby.
