Ukrainian Museum of Canada, Manitoba Branch

The museum, located in the Holy Trinity Ukrainian Orthodox Metropolitan Cathedral, a Winnipeg landmark, features a Ukrainian Baroque architectural style with an exterior mosaic by Leo Mol, a carved icon screenwall, stained glass windows and religious icons. It houses a collection of Ukrainian folk arts and crafts, traditional dress of various regions, Easter eggs, wood carvings, a library and gift shop. Open July and August, Monday to Friday, 10:00 a.m.- 4:00 p.m. or by appointment. Admission charged. Entrance at ground level north side is wheelchair accessible. Tel. 204-582-1018 (group tours).
