New Iceland Heritage Museum

The New Iceland Heritage Museum is dedicated to preserving and presenting this fascinating chapter of Manitoba's history. Begin your visit with a ten-minute film. The "New Iceland Saga" tells the story of one pioneer family through the eyes and experiences of four generations. Inside the museum you will find a painting that comes to life, a full size tent and pioneer cabin and a Saga & Legends gallery for the children, complete with a pint sized reading room.
