Wheelchair Access Guide

Parking Permit Program:

This provincial program enables the designation of special parking spaces for people with disabilities. The permit may only be used when the disabled person is in the vehicle either as the driver or a passenger. A disabled person displaying the permit can park in any space marked by the Symbol of Access or indicated as disabled persons parking. Visitors to Manitoba are encouraged to use their own provincial/state disabled parking permits while visiting Manitoba. The program is administered by the Society for Manitobans with Disabilities Inc. on behalf of the Manitoba government.
