Go wild all over Manitoba

There are so many places to find yourself in nature - from birding adventures to learning a little more about the creatures you might be able to spot from your very own backyard.

As birds of a feather flock together, you can join fellow birders in a number of places throughout the province. Find your birding adventure at http://www.birdingmanitoba.com/ or take your own tour of the Manitoba Pine to Prairie Birding Trail. Manitoba’s Central Plains also offers a number of wildlife-spotting opportunities and Nature Manitoba provides low-to no-cost outings with knowledgeable guides.

For more urban adventures, try http://www.gov.mb.ca/watchablewildlife/winnipeg.html.

A note of caution - Keep in mind that wildlife is just that - wild. Use common sense on the trail and watch out for poison ivy, a lovesick moose or a surprised bear. Be "Bear Smart" in Bear Country
