There are many ways to warm up during a wintery season here in Manitoba. Hiking amongst snowy pines in the forest, moving to the beat whilst singing and dancing at karaoke night, crafting a homemade Manitoba-inspired beverage at home, seeing the smile on a local maker's face after purchasing one of their products, or cozying up next to a bonfire. Here are 10 things to do this week in Manitoba!
For the outdoor enthusiast, beauty is found a few kilometres south of the City of Brandon in the Brandon Hills Wildlife Management Area. The extensive trail system offers easy, intermediate and difficult levels of terrain. Make yourself a hot chocolate to go and enjoy a serene winter walk through the hills. Spend an hour or spend the morning! If you're feeling extra ambitious, plan ahead of time and bring a fat bike or pair of snowshoes for a quintessential winter workout.
Grab your crew and rock out to your favourite songs with your own live back-up band with karaoke nights at the Fort Garry Hotel in Winnipeg. Makes for a great night out with friends, a fun family outing, or get together with some coworkers for after work fun!
