It's said that there can be too much of a good thing...but can there really? We argue that point! We can't get enough perogies, hiking during autumn, discovering local wildlife or snagging a local travel deal, just to name a few. We love it all! Here are 10 things to do this week in Manitoba.
Manitoba’s diverse landscapes means many different animals call our province home. Plus, with so many parks and accessible wilderness destinations, there are plenty of ways to view wildlife in a natural setting. Watch polar bears and beluga whales in their northern habitats in Churchill. Bird watchers can witness the symphony of wings in flight during the fall migration season. Please be respectful and cautious when viewing wildlife – these are wild animals after all.
The western region was where Manitoba’s first inhabitants arrived about 10,000 years ago. The stories of people who have shaped this region continue to draw in visitors. Celebrate the peace between two nations at the International Peace Garden. Honour the contributions of Canadians who dedicated their lives for our freedom at museums like the Commonwealth Air Training Plan Museum. Admire the talent of artists and writers who bring our stories to life.
