Eating on Corydon Avenue

Ask any foodie in Winnipeg and chances are, one of their favourite restaurants will be on Corydon Avenue. The options here are a little overwhelming to the beginner - but fear not - there actually is something for everyone. For a complete list, visit the Corydon Biz.

  • Kristina's is a Corydon institution that serves up delectable Greek food to its loyal fanbase - and yes, to new patrons too! Another great Greek option is Niko's, situated in the street's unassuming strip mall.
  • Of course Little Italy wouldn't be what it is today without a handful of amazing Italian restaurants. Sit on the picturesque patio at Colosseo Ristorante Italiano or try some of Winnipeg's best pizza at Tommy's Pizzeria (owned and operated by an award-winning chef).
  • The Frenchway Cafe and Cocoabeans Gluten Free: Bakeshop, Cafe & Restaurant are both fantastic spots for lunch or for a baked good - with Cocoabeans being one of the few places in Winnipeg where you can enjoy a fully gluten-free menu. And speaking of bakeries...you can't overlook the quaint Pennyloaf Bakery for freshly baked croissants, scones, baguette and more.
  • Insider secret: Heading to a nearby park for a picnic? Wako Sushi has some of the most affordable and tastiest sushi in the city. It's a takeout favourite!
  • In the mood for burgers? Market Burger has an amazing rooftop patio while Daly Burger transports you back in time to a 1950's diner.

Gelati and Eva's Gelato, while regular ol' ice cream fanatics will love Milksmith's elaborate rolled ice cream creations. For something a little different, try healthy mango desserts inspired by Hong Kong at Hui Lai Shan.
  • Grab a coffee at MAKE Coffee + Stuff, which combines design and coffee in its unique space.
  • Looking for drinks and a view with your meal? The Roost is a must-visit on Corydon, with a small-plates menu and some of the most interesting cocktails you'll ever sip.
