Meet Your 2025 Manitoba Adventure Dogs

Posted November 25, 2024 | Author Breanne Sewards

It's finally time to meet your official 2025 Manitoba Adventure Dogs! Yes, that's right - DOG(S)! For the first time ever, we have TWO dogs to represent Manitoba in 2025.

Earlier this month, we invited Manitobans to compete for the title of the official 2025 Manitoba Adventure Dog by posting a photo or video of their sidekick exploring the province on Instagram with the hashtag #MBAdventureDog2025. The judging for this year’s competition was no easy feat — it was heart-wrenching, inspiring and downright impossible at times.

With so many incredible entries showcasing adventurous pups and their heartfelt stories, every single dog deserved to win in our eyes - but alas, there can only be one. Or two? After much deliberation (and more than a few "aww"s), we're excited to announce that for the first time ever, we have TWO dogs to represent Manitoba in 2025. Say hello to our winning duo...

2025 Manitoba Adventure Dogs: Louis & Waffles

Louis, a grey French bulldog, and Waffles, an old English bulldog, are inseparable besties under two years old.

Louis, a grey French bulldog, and Waffles, an old English bulldog, are inseparable besties under two years old. From navigating forest trails to camping under starry night skies, these two share the joy of exploring the province’s stunning landscapes, along with their human companions Alicia and Tom Mitchell. We can’t wait to see what adventures they’ll take on as the official 2025 Manitoba Adventure Dogs! See their entry here and follow along at @louis_loves_waffles

2nd Place Winner: Anna

Our 2nd place winner is the adorable Anna, a 1.5-year-old rescue pup with a big heart and endless energy! Anna’s adventures have included Riding Mountain National Park, Assiniboine Forest and dog-friendly patios like The Beer Can. Cheers to that! See Anna's entry here and follow along at @annabananas.adventures.

3rd Place Winner: Baylor & Brewer

This adventurous pair—Baylor, a three-year-old Husky mix, and Brewer, a two-year-old lab—are pro road-trippers and outdoor enthusiasts! They’ve explored favourite spots like Whiteshell Provincial Park and Grand Beach Provincial Park, capturing the most amazing photos along the way. Join us in celebrating these incredible pups and their humans for showing us how amazing dog-friendly Manitoba can be. A huge thank you to everyone who participated and made this year so special!
